Reminder to get ready for electronic applications available from 14 Sep 2015

43984, 16 Sep. 2015

We would like to remind you that the legislative changes that came into effect from 1 March 2015 will be in place from 14 September 2015 as previously communicated.

If you have not adapted your systems to accommodate the new functionalities enabling the generation of the additional financial data impacting the application for tax directives, please do so without delay.

Directives submitted with the old form must reach us no later than 16:00 on 11 September 2015. Any directives submitted with the old form after this time will be rejected.

Please note that the directive notice generated by the interface agent was also updated to display the exemptions allowed in terms of the legislative changes as well as the other deductions in terms of the Second Schedule to the Act. The source code and year of assessment will always be provided on the processed directives response file (IRP3DIRS) for both finalised and declined directive applications.
For more information on how to update your systems see the Interface specification Interface Specification IBIR-006 Tax Directives Interface Specifications with all the changes highlighted in yellow. Please refer all queries relating to trade testing to the following email address
